Recall Up Date: 2010 Porsche 911 GT3

The Problem: Rear wheel hubs on certain 911 GT3 models could fail under certain driving conditions, which may lead to loss of control and increase of crash. The automaker’s suggested maintenance intervals for the wheel hubs may need to be revised to prevent failure.

The Fix: Porsche will notify owners beginning this month to bring into dealers to replace the rear wheel hubs. The owner notification letter will also include revised service interval information. Owners may contact Porsche at 1-800-767-7243.

Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 455 2010 911 GT3 vehicles manufactured May 15, 2009, through February 11, 2010.
